Weight Management, Heart Health Programs Offer Free Health Guides
If customers and associates are feeling a little guilty about indulging during the holidays, or simply want to shed some pounds and look out for their long-term health, Rite Aid is here to help with its annual Weight Management and Heart Health education programs.
During the Weight Management program, which runs through Jan. 23, customers and associates can pick up a free 12-page Weight Management Guide that includes tips for healthy eating, knowing how much to exercise and keeping weight off once it’s lost. In addition, exercising tips from fitness expert Denise Austin are available at www.RiteAid.com. Customers and associates can also receive a $5 Rite Aid gift card when they purchase $30 or more of participating weight management products through the Single Check Rebate program.
During the eight-week Heart Health program, which begins Jan. 24, customers and associates can pick up a free Heart Health Guide that includes tips to reduce risk of cardiovascular disease and identify warning signs for a heart attack or stroke. Customers and associates can receive up to a $25 Rite Aid gift card for purchasing heart health products through Single Check Rebate.
Also during the Heart Health program, associates at Rite Aid stores will sell $1 pinups to benefit theAmerican Heart Association’s Go Red For Women campaign, an annual campaign to raise funds for research and change the perception that heart disease is “man’s disease” that doesn’t affect women. Associates will sell pinups, which include coupons for Rite Aid Brand products, from Jan. 24-Feb. 27.
