Rite Aid Offers One-Step Enrollment in wellness+ with Plenti at Checkout

Enrollment in wellness+ with Plenti is now much easier and more convenient for Rite Aid customers thanks to an enhancement to the company’s register system that allows customers to fully enroll in the coalition loyalty program.

Although members who have pre-enrolled in the store but have not completed the full enrollment process can still earn Plenti points, they cannot redeem them on products at Rite Aid or other Plenti partner locations. Completing the full enrollment process allows these members to redeem their earned Plenti points to take full advantage of the savings and benefits offered to Plenti members.

“One-step enrollment at the register is a critical enhancement to the wellness+ with Plenti member enrollment process for both our customers and supplier partners,” said John Learish, senior vice president of marketing. “The ease and convenience of this new process will encourage more members who have not completed full enrollment to do so and realize the full benefits of wellness+ with Plenti—including the opportunity to redeem their Plenti points on future product purchases.”

A series of prompts on the register and pin pad guides cashiers and customers through the full enrollment process for customers who are not fully enrolled in wellness+ with Plenti. This includes both existing wellness+ with Plenti members who have completed pre-enrollment in the store but have not completed the full enrollment process online, as well as customers who are not currently wellness+ with Plenti members.

Launched last year, wellness+ with Plenti is a revolutionary enhancement to the company’s highly successful wellness+ loyalty program.

Through wellness+ with Plenti, members can continue earning wellness+ points toward discounts of up to 20 percent storewide. To deliver even greater value to customers, the enhanced program also allows members to earn Plenti points for making qualifying purchases at Rite Aid and other Plenti partners, including AT&T, Exxon and Mobil, Macy’s, Nationwide, Direct Energy, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Hulu. More partners are expected to be added in the near future.

Plenti points can then be used for savings at certain Plenti partner locations, including Rite Aid, Macy’s and Exxon and Mobil.
