News From Rite Aid’s Category Management Team
The following promotions, assignments and structural changes have taken place in the Category Management Support and Services Department, Front End Replenishment, Pricing and the Item Integrity Departments:
Category Management Support & Services
We welcome Mike Baldwin to Rite Aid as Director of Category Management Support. Mike will oversee the Category Management workflow and systems that support our Category Management Team. This includes Promo 360, Catalyst, as well as Nielsen Decision Support Tools. In addition, Mike will take an active role with the Category Management Team to identify systems as well as process enhancements for the future. Both Sherri Baker and Crystal Magill, currently Managers of Category Management Systems, will report directly to Mike.
Mike comes from PathMark, where he held the position of Vice President of Store Systems. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise regarding design and implementation of store applications to improve operational efficiency in the areas of store ordering, shelf replenishment and inventory control.
Mike reports to Ted Williams, Vice President Category Management Support & Services.
Congratulations to Jason Delorenzo, formerly Executive Assistant to Ted Williams, who has been promoted to a Business Analyst II. Jason began his career with Rite Aid in October 1998 as a Store Cashier and has held various positions at Rite Aid. In May 2007, Jason was promoted to Executive Assistant in the Category Management Support/Services Department. Jason continues to report directly to Ted Williams.
Front End Replenishment/Pricing
Rite Aid’s Front End Replenishment and the Pricing Department is now combined under the leadership of Bob Stry. Bob began his career with Rite Aid in 1979 as a Manager Trainee in the Buffalo, New York area, and over the next 11 years has held various positions. Bob was promoted to Director, Front End Replenishment in May 2003. He continues to report to Ted Williams.
Congratulations to Vickie Williams, who has been promoted from a Coordinator 2 in the Item Integrity Department to Supervisor, Item Integrity. Vickie will continue to report to Sherrie McCleary, Director Item Integrity.
And congratulations to Tina Williams, who has been promoted from a Coordinator to a Coordinator 2, Item Integrity and will report to Vickie Williams. Tina began her career with Rite Aid in November 2005 as a Coordinator in the Item Integrity Department.
Recalls will move from Front End Replenishment to the Item Integrity Department under the direction ofSherrie McCleary. Both Sue Schuck and Kim Allman now report to Sherrie.
