New ‘One More item’ Campaign Products
Associates are asking each customer during checkout if they would like to purchase 4-count Colgate Wisps, disposable mini-toothbrushes that can be used without water or rinsing, priced at $2.49 each or 1.5-ounce SPF 30 Rite Aid Brand Sunscreen with clip priced at 2 for $5.
As in the second contest period, front-end and pharmacy associates will suggestively sell both products to customers during the third contest period. The items will be displayed in fishbowl containers and placed at both front-end and pharmacy registers.
The 12-month One More Item campaign began in October in an effort to increase incremental sales by offering great value items to each customer as they check out. At the end of the 12-month campaign, the store with the highest percentage of transactions with the selected items will win $20,000 to be equally split among its store associates, front-end and pharmacy management, the pharmacy district manager and district manager.
During each three-month contest period, all store associates in the best performing store in each district win $50 Rite Aid gift cards. The district manager and pharmacy district manager of the best performing district in each region also win $50 Rite Aid gift cards.
