When high-school senior Stacey Roberts began working as a cashier for Adams Drug Company in her hometown of Newport, Rhode Island, she never imagined a 35-year career that would eventually lead her to Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, as Rite Aid’s vice president of inventory management and replenishment for supply chain.

Stacey’s career in the drugstore industry progressed as Adams Drugs converted to Brooks Pharmacy, which became part of the Brooks Eckerd Drugstore chain before being acquired by Rite Aid in 2006. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in General Business Administration, she continued to serve customers as a store manager and then a district manager.

In 2000, Stacey’s career focus changed as she took over as director of merchandising for Brooks Eckerd. She continued in merchandising when she transitioned to Rite Aid in 2007 as director of product presentation and then as senior director of merchandise presentation.

Most recently, the company tapped Stacey to be Rite Aid’s new vice president of inventory management and replenishment for supply chain.

“Stacey’s combination of management and merchandising experience and expertise provides a unique perspective on inventory management and replenishment processes,” said Tony Montini, Rite Aid’s executive vice president of merchandising and supply chain. “Her collaborative approach, long-standing relationships with supplier partners and in-depth knowledge of product presentation, placement and distribution will lead to synergies in sales, efficiency and customer satisfaction.”

In her new position, Stacey is eager to collaborate with supplier partners to build on existing relationships and forge new ones. She encourages supplier partners to call her with any questions or concerns.

“We work with supplier partners to ensure that the right products reach the right stores, in the right amounts, at the right times,” she said. “To accomplish this, my team relies on forecasting tools to continually evaluate processes and opportunities that enable us to meet the critical needs of our customers, our diverse store base and our supplier partners.”

Stacey—a die-hard fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox—travels frequently to Rhode Island to visit friends and family, including her identical twin, Sue. She enjoys travel and the outdoors and tries to make each day an adventure.

Supplier partners can reach Stacey directly at 717-975-3765 or visit her at the Rite Aid corporate headquarters in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
