DreamShip Makes Special Appearance at Unilever National Sales Meeting in Orlando, Fla.
The Rite Aid Foundation and KidCents, in partnership with Folds of Honor, proudly present the DreamShip, a fully operational hot-air balloon that is raising awareness and funding for the Folds of Honor organization, which provides educational scholarships for children of fallen or disabled service members. With a design as unique as its mission, the DreamShip showcases artwork created by Folds of Honor scholarship recipients that symbolizes their hopes and dreams for the future.
Unilever, a sponsor of the DreamShip along with Johnson & Johnson and Nestlé, hosted the balloon at its National Sales Meeting in Orlando, Florida, where employees learned more about its mission.
The Rite Aid Foundation—which has already donated more than $3 million to fund Folds of Honor scholarships for students in the communities Rite Aid serves—is committed to giving an additional $4 million over the next two years.
“Our associates were completely moved by the DreamShip, knowing what a difference the Folds of Honor scholarship program is making with help from Rite Aid and support from Unilever,” said Gina Boswell, Unilever’s EVP of Customer Development. “There’s an incredible sense of pride that every one of us can bring awareness to such a great organization. Helping others is what we stand for.”
The DreamShip national tour was launched in the fall of 2016 and is continuing its voyage through 2018. By visiting TheDreamShip.org, supplier partners can view the complete DreamShip tour schedule, watch footage of the DreamShip being fully inflated and even make a donation to Folds of Honor.
