Corporate Golf Outing Doubles Last Year’s Contribution to CMN Hospitals

Rite Aid associates and supplier partners queue their golf carts to kick off the 2014 Corporate Golf Tournament for CMN Hospitals.

Rite Aid’s annual Corporate Golf Outing for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals continues to be a growing success. At this year’s 12th annual event, nearly 250 golfers took to the links on two central Pennsylvania golf courses to raise money for Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.

Rite Aid Supplier Partners and associates hit the links in central Pennsylvania to raise money for Penn State Hershey’s Children’s Hospital.

Together, those golfers raised $180,000 that will benefit the families of sick and injured children in the local community, doubling the total last year and more than tripling the $50,000 raised in 2012.

The annual golf outing also gave participants a chance to see how much their contributions can impact the lives of local families. At a post-outing reception, participants learned the story of Miracle Child Kevin Clancy, who suffered a head injury while helping out at a church group event when he was 17.
