CMN Miracle Balloon Campaign Enters Home Stretch
Rite Aid’s 16th annual Miracle Balloon campaign to benefit Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) is entering its final days as the May 15 conclusion draws near. Through May 1, the campaign had raised $2.34 million.
During the campaign, associates ask each customer if they would like to purchase a $1 Miracle Balloon that includes $7 in coupons. Associates at corporate offices, regional offices and distribution centers can join in the effort by purchasing Miracle Balloons at their workplace.
Miracle Balloon sales account for approximately 80 percent of Rite Aid’s annual contribution to CMN. Associates raise the additional 20 percent by hosting special fundraisers throughout the year such as car shows, motorcycle rides and softball tournaments, just to name a few.
“Suppliers play an important role in our annual CMN campaign, from providing the coupons for our Miracle Balloons to supporting special fundraisers across the chain, including the corporate car wash we hold each summer,” says Public Relations Manager Ashley Flower. “We thank them for their help and commitment for helping Rite Aid be a caring neighbor to the communities we serve.”
