Allergy and Skin Health Education Programs at Rite Aid
As part of its ongoing commitment to improving patients’ health and wellness, Rite Aid is helping customers cope with allergies and protect their skin during separate health education campaigns held throughout spring and into the summer.
Customers can pick up a free Allergy Guide featuring tips on how to ease allergy symptoms and choose the best over-the-counter remedy. Through the Single Check Rebate (SCR) program, customers can earn a $10 Rite Aid gift card by purchasing $25 or more in select allergy products or a $25 Rite Aid gift card for purchasing at least $50 in participating products. In addition, the company is hosting the Rite Aid Allergy Rewards Program again this year, offering customers a $20 gift certificate for each $75 worth of Zyrtec and/or Benadryl products purchased at Rite Aid from Feb. 28-Aug. 28.
Rite Aid’s next health education campaign, which focuses on skin care, runs May 30-July 24. Customers can pick up a free Skin Care Guide and find out about the dangers of tanning beds, sunless tanning tips and detecting skin cancer. Through SCR, customers can earn a $10 Rite Aid gift card by purchasing $25 or more in select skin care products or a $25 Rite Aid gift card for purchasing at least $50 in participating products. Customers who use their wellness+ card to make these qualifying transactions receive an additional $5 gift card.
And for the third consecutive year, Rite Aid is co-sponsoring The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Road To Healthy Skin Tour, which features a customized RV that will make 80 stops across the country. People visiting the RV can receive free full-body skin cancer screenings from local dermatologists who have donated their services. Over the past two years, dermatologists on the tour found more than 2,000 potential skin cancers and pre-cancers.
