Williams gave the board a quick update on changes being made to the SAB Leadership Council before introducing two new Leadership Council members: Ron Schonefrom Pfizer and Bill Graham from Beiersdorf.

Williams then introduced President and CEOJohn Standley and Chief Operating OfficerKen Martindale, who presided over an open forum question and answer session with SAB members.

Thom Blischok of SymphonyIRI then took the floor to facilitate a Health and Wellness Workshop. Blischok set the stage with a presentation on several wellness topics, including major disease states and various opportunities for Rite Aid and its suppliers.

SAB members were then divided into five breakout groups that applied the Shopper Centric Collaboration model to the opportunities.

Each group answered a series of questions before making recommendations to the entire Supplier Advisory Board. Rite Aid is in process of recapping all of the recommendations and prioritizing its next steps.
