20th Anniversary CMN Hospitals Miracle Balloon Campaign in Full Swing

The buzz is beginning to build for what will be a milestone year for Rite Aid as the company celebrates its 20th anniversary as a sponsor of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

RiteAid_20yearlogo_Final3For 20 years, Rite Aid associates and supplier partners have gone above and beyond to help sick and injured children receive first-class medical care, raising more than $64 million since 1994 to fund specialized treatment, research and medical equipment at local community hospitals.

After raising an epic and record-breaking total of $6.8 million last year, and topping the previous year’s tally by nearly $1 million, Rite Aid is gearing up for an even bigger year to celebrate its 20th anniversary as a CMNH supporter.

It all starts with a 7-week Miracle Balloon campaign that kicked
off Sunday, April 6 and runs through Saturday, May 24. During this annual campaign, Rite Aid associates raise the majority of the company’s funds for local CMN Hospitals by asking every customer if they would like to purchase a $1 paper Miracle Balloon.

Also during the campaign, Rite Aid teams use their passion, spirit and creativity to plan and conduct special fundraisers ranging from golf tournaments, car washes and bake sales to beauty pageants, pies to the face and head shavings.

It all adds up to Rite Aid being one of the country’s biggest supporters of CMN Hospitals.
